‘Mad Dog' MD for DDB SA
Emmet James Joseph O'Hanlon (Emmet, Emmie, Skipper or Mad Dog to his friends) has been appointed MD of DDB SA in recognition of his contribution to the great strides DDB SA has made in the last year, it was announced late yesterday, Wednesday, 15 October 2008.
Commenting on O'Hanlon's appointment, CEO Glen Lomas said, “I have worked with Emmet for many years and he is a trusted and loyal friend as well as a business partner. He, more than anyone, should take credit for the great shape that DDB SA is in today. His tireless pursuit in achieving both DDB's and our clients' objectives and his passion for great work and the people of DDB, were never truly recognised in his former title of strategic director.
“Going forward, I know that the agency will continue to grow and the work and culture will continue to get better and better with his hand more firmly on the tiller.
