Getting ready to wrap: 30 days to go until entries close for the Multichoice Vuka! Awards 2003
If you've got talent, energy and tons of creativity just itching to be put to good use, then what are you waiting for? The MultiChoice VUKA! Awards is your opportunity to make a difference to your community - and show the film industry (and the MultiChoice VUKA! judges) just how talented you are!
The competition's payoff line is MAKE A COMMERCIAL, MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Which it does. This MultiChoice Foundation initiative gives free flighting on selected DStv channels to your public service announcement, produced in aid of a registered charity, non-government organisation or any other worthy cause. What better way to show off your filmmaking skills than by spreading a message of hope!
The MultiChoice VUKA! Awards is open to professional and newcomer filmmakers, with awards for the best in directing, editing, sound design, cinematography, animation and concept up for grabs- newcomer and professional category. But before you can win, you have to enter. And before you can enter, you have to stop staring at that empty storyboard. So go ahead and do what it takes!
The deadline for submitting your public service announcement is 30 September 2003.
