2006 Eurobest Awards to include Direct and Integrated
LONDON: Eurobest, the European awards competition for Radio, TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor and Interactive advertising, will also include two new categories this year: Direct and Integrated. Comments Terry Savage, executive chairman, "As Europe's leading creative awards, it's important that Eurobest continues to reflect and be relevant to the industry."
"Adding Direct and Integrated to the competition will further establish Eurobest Awards at the forefront of European creative excellence," Savage adds.
The Direct competition will honour creative and innovative forms of direct marketing and will be judged by a dedicated jury.
Integrated, which also launches this year, will award the best campaigns made up of at least three different types of media mix. The jury, led by the TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor and Radio jury president, will be composed of 10 members from the other juries, including the Direct and Interactive jury presidents.
Information on rules and categories will be available at www.eurobest.com from mid August and entries can be submitted online from 7 September.
Judging will take place in London early December, with the shortlisted entries being announced online on 5 December and the winners on 7 December.
