The IIE Varsity College Nelson Mandela Bay campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part-Time) for the following second semester module for the 2024 academic year:

• Therapeutic Interventions

Key Performance Areas:

• Lecturing preparation
• Lecturing
• Marking
• Student support

Competencies Required:

• Communications skills
• Organisational skills
• Time management

 Minimum Education Requirements:

• ​Master's in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology (Or Doctorate equivalent)

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• ​It would be preferable if the following additional competencies are fulfilled: Work experience as a Psychologist in the Clinical, Counselling, Research, Educational contexts etc.
• Lecturing/Tutoring experience in above-mentioned module (at least at Honours level)
• Experience in conducting psychotherapy

Working Conditions:

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role

• Position is contracted for six months (July 2024 – Dec 2024)
• Position is part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays
• Classes are conducted face-to-face on campus
