He has worked with many African blue-chip companies, assisting them in developing and implementing Global Sourcing Models, enabling these organisations to leverage the potential of working across shores, bringing innovation and improving profitability with strategies such as Impact Sourcing and Global Delivery Platforms, whilst embracing best practices in a diverse environment.
He has been instrumental in driving the organisation's growth in the region for nearly a decade, having served as Business Head - South Africa since 2003, then as Country Manager for South Africa from 2006 to 2011. Prior to Zensar, he worked at WIPRO as Sr. Marketing Executive.
During his time as Country Manager, Lala spearheaded the development of South Africa into Zensar's third-biggest destination after the US and the UK. The company has seen ten years of consistent revenue and profit growth under his leadership, and has also made significant strides in localisation, transformation and creating local learnership and training programmes in line with the parent company's skills development strategies.
Lala is a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and have achieved an MBA (Marketing). His academic career earned him a string of excellence awards.
