Doug Mayne, MD of Primedia Lifestyle, founded his marketing and advertising career at Ogilvy Durban. where his leadership qualities ensured his progression from account executive to group account director during his time there.

Joining Primedia Lifestyle in 2007 as KZN regional marketing manager, Doug was appointed MD in July 2011.

The Primedia Lifestyle Group, an Unlimited subsidiary, delivers marketing excellence to more than 45 shopping centres nationwide. The company offerings include Source (CRM and digital), Red Pixel (creative, production and design), MediaXpress (media planning, buying and strategy) MallFusion (full project management including sponsorships and events) and most recently a Gift Card division.

Doug's particular area of interest is the digital and CRM space within the retail sector and the use of mobile, social and loyalty tools to drive customer engagement and personalised retail experiences.
