The 2010 Nederburg Auction, held 3-4 September 2010 saw a record price reached for a case of six bottles of Nederburg Port 1964, which at R62 000 was nearly 18 times the reserve price of R3500, purchased by Next International Nigeria Ltd. The only Port ever made by the legendary Nederburg winemaker Günter Brözel, who retired more than 20 years ago, every bottle has been numbered and sealed.
