In a surprise move, The Media editor Kevin Bloom has announced that he has left The Media magazine with immediate effect. In an email to colleagues in the industry, Bloom said he was leaving "due to certain professional differences which have arisen between (publisher) Sandra Gordon and myself". Bloom is credited with elevating strategic media news and issues to the top of the industry's agenda with his launch editorship of The Media magazine, in which he is also a business partner. Bloom will not be entirely leaving the industry going forward, Bizcommunity.com is led to believe.
