Netflix's African original series Blood & Water debuts 20 May
Streaming service Netflix will premiere its young-adult, African original series, Blood & Water, globally on 20 May. The young adult drama is directed by Nosipho Dumisa and features Khosi Ngema, Ama Qamata (from Gomora, My Perfect Family, Rhythm City), Natasha Thahane (from Skeem Saam, The Queen), Gail Mabalane (from The Road, The Wild), Cindy Mahlangu (from The Queen, The Heard), Thabang Molaba (from The Queen), Arno Greeff (from Binnelanders) and Dillon Windvogel (from DanZ).
Blood & Water follows the exploits of an intelligent and impulsive 16-year-old Puleng Khumalo. The teenager plans a transfer to Parkhurst College to investigate the 17-year-old cold case of her older sister, who was abducted at birth.
