AME acquires United Stations
AFRICAN Media Entertainment (AME) has bought United Stations, the national sales agent for Radio Algoa, OFM and P4. Stan Katz has been appointed as Chief Executive of AME Broadcasting. AME has been under pressure from shareholders to become a focused radio company and has recently sold certain non-radio interests including Golden Gloves, Big Concerts, Moonlighting Filmmakers, Exclusive Hire and Penguin Films.
