Weg passes 20 000 subscriber mark and celebrates first birthday

South Africa's first Afrikaans outdoor and travel magazine Weg toasted its first birthday at the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees in Oudtshoorn with a new name, its highest recorded ABC figures and a subscriber base of over 20 000. Editor Bun Booyens says readers continue to buy Weg for its unique, inherently Afrikaans style and content - a magazine which has filled the gap in the market for a practical outdoor guide, offering affordable destinations for everyone, with emphasis on family breaks and holidays.
