Publish Asia 2010 moves to Kuala Lumpur
Publish Asia 2010, the major pan-Asian publishing conference, originally planned for 11-13 May 2010 in Bangkok has now moved to 3-5 August 2010 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is in reaction to the political crisis in Thailand, the organisers, World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) announced yesterday, 26 May 2010.
Malaysia is considered one of the most exciting newspaper markets in Asia. Newspapers are the media of choice for Malaysian advertisers' - taking more than half of the market and leading publishers recently announced record profits. New publications, both print and online are blossoming and introducing new innovation and creativity.
Most of the speakers announced for Bangkok in May have confirmed their participation at the new dates in Kuala Lumpur. The programme and registration information for the 10th annual Publish Asia can be found at www.publishasia.com.
