Melrose Arch gets Yogoorus

"Yogoorus is more than mouth-watering magic, it exudes fun too. Customers love the experience of using the machines that dispense swirls of frozen yoghurt and choosing from the vast range of toppings. The selection is then weighed - and priced accordingly," explains Ruben Schoeman, one of four entrepreneurial gurus behind this development, along with partners Manny, Carlos and Joe Pestana.

The flavours range from exotic fruits such as watermelon, pomegranate and mango & pine, to Turkish delight, liquorice, white chocolate, and nutty toffee. The toppings include nuts and muesli, daily prepared fresh fruit, chocolate and sweet and sour treats.

Yogoorus frozen yoghurts are 98% fat free, contain live probiotic yoghurt cultures, natural fruit purées, preservative-free flavourings, and fresh milk - all of which is sourced locally.

Adding further to the fun factor is the appealing retro-slick branding, interior design furnishings, together with large plasma screens featuring music DVDs and high profile sporting events.

The team of gurus has been operating a successful venture called Blue Gill Imports since 2002, establishing their credibility as an astute management team with a sound financial base. The Yogoorus concept will be franchised to extend its reach throughout South Africa.

Yogoorus can be found at Cedar Square (Upper Level), Shop U3.11, Cedar Avenue, Fourways and in the Melrose Arch Galleria Mall, Shop SL31, The Piazza, Melrose Arch. The Melrose Arch store's trading hours are 9am-6pm from Monday to Thursday, Sundays and public holidays and from 9am-8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
