South African wines score at Decanter World Wine Awards

Nederburg won two South African Regional trophies - one for the Private Bin Edelkeur 2008 and the other for its Winemaker's Reserve Noble Late Harvest 2010 and Ernie Els and KWV won two gold medals.

The Fleur du Cap Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 won best South African Red Bordeaux Varietal over £10 in the Regional Trophies. A worthy successor to the award winning 2009 vintage, which clinched a gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards last year, the Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, is made at Die Bergkelder by winemaker Justin Corrans and cellarmaster Andrea Freeborough. The vintage will be released later this year.
