Eating 'Off the Menu' with Ainsley Harriott...
BBC Food, broadcast to almost one million subscribers across Africa on DSTV, has commissioned a second series of 18 episodes of 'Off The Menu', with celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott, and is auditioning contestants for the new series. 
The 30-minute programme pits two teams of amateur chefs against each other, to see if they can cook a dish 'Off The Menu' of a well-known South African restaurant, when they have only the name of the dish to go on.
"'Off The Menu' was developed specifically for South Africa and commissioning a second series is testament to its success," says BBC Food Commissioning Editor, David Weiland. "Audience response was incredible, and showed that South Africa can stand on its own when it comes to world-class restaurants and cooking talent."
The first series, broadcast on BBC Food last year, (DSTV channel 70), featured chefs some of South Africa's finest.
