The Color Run SA sold out in Port Elizabeth!

This is the world's single-biggest event series that brings a kaleidoscope of colour to runners who start the race wearing white and get doused in a different colour for each kilometre. In each colour zone - yellow, red, blue and purple - volunteers shower runners and walkers with clouds of brightly coloured powder. (It's food grade, coloured cornstarch, so it's 100% natural, safe, and washes out.)

The first ever event on African soil is set to mark an awesome Spring Day in Port Elizabeth as participants revel in all the wildness at the NMMU nature reserve in Summerstrand. The Color Run™ is a fun, family-friendly race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back, bringing together communities to create a five-kilometre-long canvas of colour.

Port Elizabeth marks an excellent start for this popular run as the public is renowned for supporting and getting behind local events. It's the first official Color Run on the African continent, proudly coloured by Algoa FM, the happy music and media partner.

The Color Run™ 5k is also set to hit Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg as it continues to get novices and serious athletes excited about this unique, healthy and happy experience.
