Visit Montecasino and meet Jacaranda
Two of Gauteng's entertainment brands, Jacaranda 94.2 and Montecasino, have signed a partnership deal that will see a satellite Jacaranda studio constructed at the casino. The erection of the studio at the Montecasino complex signals the fruition of Jacaranda 94.2's strategy to increasing its presence in Johannesburg's northern suburbs.
Managing director Mike Siluma says the stations' new geographical presence is key in its strategy to grow the Northern suburbs target audience: "Although Jacaranda's footprint spans the four provinces of Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West, the station is at this time strategically focusing on radically increasing our share of top line business in Gauteng.
"Apart from the fact that our main broadcast Centurion based studios are already located in the heart of Gauteng, the geographic extension of a physical presence for the station where the highest concentration of upper income individuals reside is of great strategic importance to us."
The synergy between Montecasino and Jacaranda 94.2 has created a natural marriage between the two: "Jacaranda 94.2 and Montecasino are also well positioned and entrenched as Gauteng's premium entertainment brands and both attract Gauteng's upper echelons of entertainment seekers."
The satellite studio will be operational during weekends as well as for special events.
