People are talking about the charisma and flare igniting Radio 2000's weekend sport show

Airing from 15:00-18:00pm on weekends, 99.7 is a mix of music, sportainment and female inspired spunk. Victor Khasu, producer of the sport show, describes it as "a perfect scene-setter where we go into sport stories before most competitors do".

The station is focused on the upliftment of the community and is driven by their mandate to help make a difference in South Africa by building relationships between all cultures. This was evident when the image of the station was changed two years ago. It may be said that the face-lift has paid off and the decision to strengthen the female voice on Radio 2000 is showing dramatic results in terms of capturing a large listenership amongst women.

The increasing audience growth is testament of the show's ability to deliver topical content in an appealing manner and dynamic approach.

Zai Khan has become a large factor of such results as Victor backs up, "She understands what is expected of her and allows her own personality to roll easily throughout the show - people really love her." Quick to respond, Zai comments "Victor is a superb producer! He has the ability to read the female mind like no other!"

Reporting on a variety of sports updates, the show covers the latest on soccer, cricket, rugby, formula one and all things in-between. With the chemistry between the two presenters being contagious their show becomes entertaining as well as informative.

With sights set on 2011 Victor concludes, "Everyone is pretty much following the same recipe in this industry in the name of the 'tried and tested' excuse. People need to be brave, rally behind their ideas and work hard on the basics of radio. I believe we are on the road to something great at Radio 2000."

Tune in to the get the latest on what's happening in the world of sport at Radio 2000.
