Lineup changes at Talk 702

World @ Six, the award-winning show hosted by Bruce Whitfield, will now run from 6-8pm, Mondays to Fridays. "The new format gives us an opportunity to explore how business actually works and how it impacts on our everyday lives, rather than simply reporting on the numbers," explained Whitfield. "I'm looking forward to getting under the skin of South African business."
"A Word On..." shows, hosted by Leigh Bennie, will now run for an hour from 8-9pm. "We will still cover the same topics but the format will be tighter, with more succinct discussions," said Talk Radio 702 station manager, Pheladi Gwangwa.
Udo Carelse, well known to early risers as the host of the 4-6am breakfast show on 702 and presenter and producer for SuperSport, will be host the Saturday and Sunday morning shows from 7-10am.
"Listeners can expect a larger degree of interaction with a much more fluid format: the order of the day will dictate the flow but we will touch base with the big newsmakers and provide a space for much needed analysis with some hindsight," he said of the new show, adding that lifestyle features will add to the essential mix listeners already enjoy on the current shows.
