'The Spear': Lekota slams Zuma

MPs became a little over-emotional yesterday when Congress of the People leader Mosiuoa Lekota laid into Jacob Zuma, accusing the president of violating his oath of office by failing to protect the rights of "The Spear" artist Brett Murray and City Press editor Ferial Haffajee.
  
• Mail & Guardian: ANC and Goodman Gallery reach agreement on 'Spear'... Well, they didn't exactly kiss and make up, but at least both parties seem to be trying to make amends. The ANC called off its court interdict application, which demanded the image be removed from the gallery and the City Press website, and Goodman Gallery owner Lisa Essers agreed to remove images of the painting from the gallery's website.
