Phatlane feeling proud of his pixel.

Phatlane of Promise was announced as this year’s best digital youngster at last week’s Bookmark Awards. This is defined by the IAB as: "The person under 28 who has made a significant contribution to digital this year through their work." As a result of this accolade, Phatlane sent through this GIF of falling smiley faces.

Commenting on the calibre of SA’s digital work, Phatlane says: “Digital work in South Africa is definitely one of the most maturing in the global spectrum and the quality, technologies, and craft is world class.”

Phatlane’s work has long demonstrated these qualities too, as he took top honours at The IIE's Portfolio Night while still at the Vega School of Brand Leadership in 2014.
