Charlize Theron graces SA Fashion Week 2004

"The partnership between SAFW and L'Oreal is a perfect synergy and wonderful opportunity to showcase new ideas in the beauty industry whilst celebrating new and established design talent which in turn stimulates job creation and business building; it is all about building an industry." says Lucilla Booyzen, director of SA Fashion Week.
Charlize Theron joins an established and inspirational list of artists as one of L'Oreal Paris' ambassadors internationally. Other well-known women such as Catherine Deneuve, Milla Jovovich, Virginie Ledoyen, Agbani Darego (Miss World 2001), Beyonce Knowles, Andie MacDowell, Gong Li, Claire Forlani, Claudia Schiffer, Natalie Imbruglia, Leatitia Casta and Aishwarya Rai (Miss World 1994), also form part of this distinguished list of L'Oreal ambassadors.
Dudu Hadebe, Marketing Manager L'Oreal Paris confirms: "The L'Oreal Paris brand platform is global beauty, fashion, elegance and innovation. Our involvement in SA Fashion Week allows us to be a more accessible brand whilst maintaining the aspirational ideals of the French cosmetics brand."
SA Fashion Week, now in its 8th year, will feature over 30 collections of both up-and-coming and established designers. It will for the first time include a programme of seminars by top speakers from the international and national fashion world, as well as workshops to facilitate contact between local designers and the major South African chain stores; SAFW 2004 will also feature a major trade exhibition.
This year a limited number of tickets will be on sale to the public from 1 July to attend and view the weekend's activities and collections. Previously SA Fashion Week has been open only to the industry and media.
Ticket options and details: R50 - access to exhibition only; R100 per show (exhibition included). Tickets will be available from Computicket and at the door. For more information log on to www.safashionweek.co.za.
