The Publishing Partnership glows in reflected Pica sunshine

Icon, the Pam Golding Group's customer mag published by The Publishing Partnership (TPP), took home the Pica for Best Leisure & Lifestyle; Musica's Pulse got a Highly Commended in the Customer Magazines Entertainment and Arts category, and another Highly Commended was awarded to the Clicks ClubCard mag.

"The words 'leisure and lifestyle' encapsulate the content that Icon offers its blue-chip readers, and to have our efforts recognised by the Pica committee is an affirmation of how we have been able to touch the lives of Pam Golding's clients," said Mark Beare, joint managing director of TPP.

The Pica was the cherry on the top for Musica's Pulse Magazine, which has grown by over 100% in content and advertising revenue over the past 18 months, and the award is likely to boost this even more in 2006.

TPP also publishes the glossy ClubCard magazine for the Clicks loyalty programme, which is posted to 700 000 customers six times a year. "We've worked hard to make ClubCard magazine a great read, a great club benefit and a superb marketing tool for Clicks and its suppliers," said editor Abigail Murison. "We're proud that the magazine has been singled out for praise at the Picas and aim to always be contenders in the awards."
