Killarney Mall Chilli Festival hots up winter
From 7-10 June 2011, the Killarney Mall in Johannesburg will host a free Chilli Festival, hosted by Clorets. It offers chilli tastings from a jamboree of jalapenos, a flock of African birds-eyes and a heat wave of habaneros. Moreover, do not miss the bell peppers of the ball, in sweet stoplight colours: red, orange and green.
The chillies will be joined by a red-hot supporting cast of sauces - both hot and sweet - and other goodies such as choc-chip chilli biscuits, samoosas, whole pickled chillies, chilli hot chocolate, spicy soups, chilli paste, seeds, seasonings, dishes and more. There are chilli body wraps and creams and the red-hot rhythms of its mariachi band.
