Cell C's revenue growth up 5% as subscribers increase
Cell C has increased its revenue by 5% to R10,2 billion and its customer base has grown by 12% to 8,2 million subscribers according to a financial report published on Business Live.
Cell C's acting chief executive, Simon Duffy says that the management team is "very pleased" with the results. Service revenue was up by 4% to R9,3 billion while earnings, before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation remained unchanged at R1,4 billion.
Business Live quotes Duffy as saying that prepaid growth had proved significant for the company with prepaid subscribers growing by 17% during the year.
