Update on TAMS audit
As part of its international audit of the TAMS panel, the SAARF board engaged with Nielsen late last week to discuss the audit, following a meeting with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), as part of its action plan.
Currently further inputs from Nielsen are awaited and once all stakeholders are happy with the proposed action plan, the SAARF Board will ensure that shortcomings are addressed as speedily as possible and that all corrective steps necessary to restore the integrity of the TAMS currency are taken.
The board has also decided to release the audit report to stakeholders in the interest of transparency. Stakeholders who would like to study the audit report can contact SAARF to obtain a copy.
