New SAcamera opens superstore in Cape Town
The centre of Cape Town saw the launch last week of the SAcamera superstore offering a professional camera showroom store. The store reportedly has the first active lighting display in Cape Town, the widest range of photographic products in the country and the first official state of the art Leica boutique store in South Africa.
The event included interactive guest photography using Lomography equipment, GoPro action camera display (these can be attached to surf boards/motorbikes and other moving equipment), an Olympus Tough Camera ice sculpture display, 40x Sandisk 8 Gig Contour flash drives hand-outs and a showcase of the SAcamera Facebook photo competition winner's work.
"We're excited about the opportunity to be one of the retailers who supply aspiring photographers, film studios and professional photographers in the city centre.
