Sandton City recently held its first Tenant Excellence Awards, selected from the results of the past three years' audits by Sandton City Service Mystery Shoppers, at the Sandton Sun. The awards were based on customer service, merchandising, window displays and product knowledge and included the Long Service Award for independent storeowners, who have been in the centre for its 36 years.

Other winners in varied categories included Tiger Wheel & Tyre, Flight Centre, Sandton Stationery & Print, Global Wrapps, The Body Shop, Edgars, Cameraland, Art Etc, Coricraft Lifestyle, Mont Blanc, Preview and Levi Strauss.
