NEWSWATCH: The national broadcaster saw cutting local content production as a means to help solve its financial problems, but in doing so it may end up contravening ICASA regulations governing the percentage of local content to be broadcast, reports IOL, which also reports that the CWU wants what it alleges is a name-dropping SABC regional editor to be warned off because he's ‘terrorising' them. The Competition Commission is taking a look at cellular operators for alleged collusion, reports Business Day.
