Media invited to mock identity parade at SAPS
Ever wondered what an identify parade is really like and whether participants are safe? Parkview SAPS and the Parkview Community Policing Forum (CPF) are inviting the media to experience this and other policing procedures on Friday, 4 September 2009, at the Parkview SAPS from 9.30am to 12 noon.

Designed to reduce apathy and fears about identity parades, the MEC for Safety and Security, Khabisi Mosunkutu, has agreed to participate in this event to give it the necessary profile and to carry a message of community involvement to the greater Gauteng.
There will be various stalls in the Parkview courtyard where members of the public can learn more, including:
- Parkview CPF
- Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC) from SAPS
- Parkview Victim Support
- Domestic Watch
- Dept. of Community Safety
As there is limited space for the mock identity parade, contact Nonhlanhla on or call on +27 (0)71 910 1371 to reserve your place in the line-up.
