Assegai 2002 Master Direct Marketing Magicians

Assegai entries are in and the judges have been chosen. What is left, however, is the task of nominating the 2002 Master Direct Marketing Magicians - those individual and corporate conjurors who have excelled above all others during the year.

To nominate candidates, simply visit www.assegai.co.za, click on Categories, then Individual and Company Awards, select the categories in which you wish to nominate candidates, and complete the quick and easy online entry forms. The closing date ofr entries is 5 July 2002.

Young Direct Marketer of the Year: for the nominee deemed to demonstrate the most promise as a direct marketer of the future.

DMA Hall of Fame: the lifetime achievement award to the nominee recognised as having made a singular, unique and consistent contribution to the direct marketing industry during his or her career.

Direct Marketing Organisation of the Year: for the organisation that has made a significant and outstanding contribution to the growth and success of the direct marketing industry, in whatever form, during the year.

Direct Marketer of the Year (Industry Focus): for the nominee who has made a significant and outstanding contribution to the direct marketing industry during the awards year.

Direct Marketing Achiever of the Year (Internal Company Focus): for the nominee who has demonstrated exceptional knowledge, craftsmanship and commitment in any direct marketing field or medium during the year (can be won by any type or level of direct marketer).

Direct Marketing Supplier of the Year: recognises the supplier organisation or individual that has made a significant and measurable contribution to the direct marketing industry through excellent service, quality of work, and added value, in whatever form, during the awards year.

Customer Contact Centre: recognises excellence in the use of a customer contact centre or call centre for marketing or customer relationship management using telephone, fax, Internet and email, whilst integrating technology, business processes and people management. It especially recognises centres that are integrated into the organisation's marketing strategy.
