New HP graphic arts portal expands creative experience

HP has recently launched the HP Graphic Arts Portal, bringing together imaging and printing products, services, tools - plus a wide range of additional resources for graphics professionals. HP Indigo digital presses and HP Designjet large format printers are featured extensively throughout the new site.

"HP is committed to developing products for those working in graphics and the creative visual arts - from graphic designers and professional photographers to pre-press/proofing and commercial and industrial printers," said Dave Connock, Large Format Printing Solutions, Imaging and Printing Group at HP South Africa. "All of HP's resources for this community are now gathered together in one destination to empower graphics professionals and expand their business opportunities."

The entire HP Graphic Arts product catalogue is showcased, and portal visitors can view virtual demos, track orders and manage warranties to make product selection and delivery more efficient. The portal also supports individual expression and encourages creativity by offering access to such tools as image and template libraries, downloads, application cookbooks, and user forums to share insights. Online training also provides techniques and guidance for business development and product optimisation.

The HP Graphic Arts Portal is available in 11 languages catering for creatives who use HP solutions in over 240 countries worldwide. As individuals use the portal, personalisation tools adapt to their preferences and offer content specifically tailored to their requirements, areas of expertise or personal interests.

Additional elements of the portal include a comprehensive, searchable library of HP Graphic Arts news, articles and testimonials, together with the power to search partner solution offerings to find the right fit for a business or individual creative project.

The portal is not only an area for personal development and research, but is primed to become an area for artistic endeavour and offers an online exhibition environment for individuals and groups. HP plans to develop and expand the portal in this and other contexts.

The HP Graphic Arts portal will provide artists from across the world the opportunity to curate their own unique exhibition as they share their work with like minded groups.

The HP Graphic Arts portal is now live and can be found at: www.hp.com/go/graphic-arts.
