Costing Clerk

A motor vehicle dealership based in Shelley Beach is looking for a vehicle costing clerk to join their team in the service department.

Duties (included but not limited to):

• Ensure that vehicles under warranty are registered on the warranty system
• Assist with service administration when necessary
• Assist with service calls when necessary
• Check job cards daily
• Ensure sales, manufacturing dates are correct.
• Ensure chassis and engine numbers correct
• Check service history
• Check extra work required
• Correct allocation of costs
• Quotations, when necessary
• Do general costing accurately
• Check work in progress
• Attend to queries and corrections
• Do job card reversals, when necessary
• Check that previous day’s invoices are reflected on system.
• Assist with service calls when necessary
• Banking
• Track outstanding cash

Requirements:

• Must have at least two years' experience as a vehicle costing clerk in the automotive industry
• Experience on Kerridge
• Driver's licence
• Bubbly and energetic personality with good customer care skills
