      Half Day Bookkeeper

      Remuneration:R10000 - R12000 per month

      Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join their team on a half-day basis. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in bookkeeping and extensive proficiency in Zoho Accounting. The role requires a high level of accuracy, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently

      Key responsibilities:
      • Full bookkeeping function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
      • Processing invoices, payments, and expense claims with precision.
      • Bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
      • VAT calculations and submissions.
      • Preparation of financial reports as required.
      • Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
      • Liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions when necessary.
      • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in Zoho Accounting.
      • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
      Requirements:
      • Minimum 10 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting.
      • Advanced proficiency in Zoho Accounting (non-negotiable).
      • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and tax regulations.
      • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
      • Strong organisational and time management skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
      • Ability to work efficiently within a half-day schedule.
