Accountants

A large corporate head office within the automotive industry is looking to employ four accountants to join its team in April 2025.

The successful applicants will work in a centralised finance and administration environment, managing deadlines and communicating with branches, financial managers, and suppliers.

Duties

• Reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts.
• Preparation of tax schedules.
• VAT reconciliations.
• Processing of supplier invoices (when required).
• Preparation and processing of Capex packs.
• Analysis of accounts upon request.
• Ensuring all journals are accurate and processed as required.
• Assisting other accounting staff, particularly during busy periods.

Essential requirements

• BCom finance degree.
• Minimum of three years' accounting experience.
• Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently.
• Own transport.

• Accurate data capturing and record-keeping skills.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Financial work experience in a centralised environment.
• Knowledge of administrative systems within a motor dealership (Drive IA / Autoline).
• Accounting background applicable to a motor dealership within a computer environment.

Benefits

• Basic salary between R25,000 – R30,000, depending on experience.
