      We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as coastal regional sales manager. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about leading sales teams and driving business growth. You will lead a well-established sales team in a prime sales area. Your success in this exciting position will hinge on your exceptional leadership and negotiation skills, initiative & creativity; integrity; and your ability to positively manage relationships with both customers and colleagues. Beyond your proficiency in these key areas, your proven sales track record, robust administrative skills, and unwavering passion for introducing professional products to salons set you apart.

      Regional sales manager – COASTAL (based in Cape Town)

      Responsible for planning, controlling, and coordinating the activities of the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal sales teams to achieve sales objectives; maintain contact with all Key Accounts; and conduct sales training.

      Your duties will include but are not limited to:
      • All aspects of managing a dynamic sales team, including performance management
      • Creating, monitoring, and improving sales strategies and plans
      • Key account management - effective management of existing partnership and other key accounts in the region, identify new accounts
      • Responsible for the overall operation and profitability of the region, including the monitoring and achievement of sales and expense targets within budgeted guidelines
      • Identify training needs and conduct sessions to enhance the sales team's skills, including in-field assessments.
      • Monitoring compliance to all policies & procedures
      • Reporting and administration
      Qualifications, experience, and attributes required:
      • Minimum Matric/Grade 12 (a post-matric qualification in Sales or Business Management will be an advantage)
      • At least 5 years’ sales experience with a proven track record in managing an account base and gaining new business through excellent customer care and ethical behaviour
      • Sound knowledge of the markets that the company trades in, customer insight and a broad perspective of the business will be to your advantage
      • Excellent communication; negotiation; problem solving; and conflict handling skills
      • Have a professional approach, be a team player demonstrating initiative, creativity, unwavering integrity, and above average emotional intelligence
      • A valid Code 8 Drivers licence
      • Reliable vehicle – a car allowance is included in the package
      • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
      Start Date: 1 September 2024 (negotiable)

      Location: Cape Town

      Remuneration:      Basic salary; commission; monthly and quarterly incentives; annual performance bonus, Fuel card; car allowance; and phone allowance, Other employee benefits available as part of cost to company structure

      Other brands in our portfolio include the popular Brazilian hair treatment Sweet Hair Professional, and Reuzel – Holland’s finest pomades and barbering products. We also produce our own affordable in-salon care range called Swish.
