Jack Esterhuizen was born and raised in the roaring city of Johannesburg in 1987.
He studied editing and television production at AFDA and holds a BA Honours degree. He started working in 2009 and has been editing ever since, having edited movies such as, Mshiksa-Shika and How to Steal to Million.
Jack Esterhuizen was born and raised in the roaring city of Johannesburg (South Africa) in 1987 and has been living there for the greater part of his life. He attended Bracken High School and after that got his 4 year Honours degree from AFDA (The South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance)
His focus during his studies was on television productions and editing. Jack was a teacher's assistant for the television production department in his third and fourth year and has received three awards for best television production in his second, third and fourth year.
He started working in 2009, at first as an assistant editor for DV8 Films, a feature films company, and assisted on films such as State of Violence and How to steal two million. After about a year he was a junior editor at Homemark, editing infomercials. Jack was recently the Head Editor for the Mzansi Magic Drama Series, Mshiksa-Shika, again for DV8 Films.
