Show profile Hide profileTrudy-Lee Rutkowski, is known for her ability to tackle any project and ensure positive results. She is described as a dynamic overachiever, who has enhanced the Mail&Guardian's presence and value proposition with her countless marketing and promotional ideas. Dickon Jayes, MD of Media Distribution Africa, says Rutkowski is an asset to the Mail&Guardian, whose "unwavering, results-driven nature ensures incomparable return on investment".
Rutkowski was headhunted by the Mail&Guardian from her position as circulation promotions manager at The Citizen, where she was hired to head up a team to manage and explore circulation opportunities. Former Publisher of the Citizen Greg Stewart, says he has seldom met such a focused achiever in over 20 years in the industry.
When Rutkowski, who at the time was the Marketing Manager of circulation promotions at the Mail&Guardian, was recognized as one of the top 40 under 40's in the media industry Mail&Guardian's Publisher, Anastacia Martin said "Trudy-Lee's flair, creativity and innate understanding of publishing sales stand her apart"
In August 2012 Rutkowski traded her marketing position at the Mail&Guardian for that of the Senior Events Executive. As all the events managed by Rutkowski, with clients such as Neotel, The Department of Water affairs and Medscheme, to name a few, have been both world class and hugely successful, it's not surprising that she finds herself exploring new and exciting partnership opportunities daily.
Should you wish to explore possible partnership opportunities, the complete event management would be handled by Trudy-Lee and the event would be hosted in partnership with the Mail&Guardian. Doing so provides the opportunity to highlight, promote and market the event to Mail&Guardian readers through print, digital and dialogue, to our targeted core audience of professionals, captains of industry, public-sector officials, academics, diplomats and civil society readers of influence.
