He was then a founder and key player in setting up a number of media companies including eTV (first commercial free-to-air television in RSA), YFM (largest regional radio station in RSA), Yarona FM (regional radio in Botswana), SANHU (wildlife production company), Phoenix (documentary production company) Three Blind Mice Communications (digital signage) and SA Direct - a company marketing Southern Africa using television (SKY in the UK), and online. The company focused on telling the African story internationally in the Lifestyle & Culture, Travel & Tourism and Commerce genre's.
In 2011 Tuluntulu was launched with Pierre as its Founder and CEO. Tuluntulu is a mobile streaming platform, and video content company. Tuluntulu has unique technology designed for streaming video to mobile devices in low bandwidth or congested environments. The Tuluntulu app, downloadable from the Google Play Store, streams numerous video channels to smartphones users globally.
