Show profile Hide profileJoseph Eliabson MANIRAGENA has been the project Manager at the Agency for Refugee Education Skills Training and Advocacy (ARESTA) till very recently and has joined the ARESTA since 2007 firstly as a researcher. He acquired an Honors degree in administrative Sciences and a diploma in social sciences from Kigali Independent University (U.L.K.) in Rwanda. Prior to joining ARESTA he was actively involved in youth development initiatives as a promoter and co-founder of ULK Students Association (A.GE.U.L.K.). He also independently founded a youth association for environmental protection (AJEPROC) which created more than 35 youth environmental clubs in high schools/Rwanda. He also undertook research studies around environmental protection as part of his academic requirements and produced a manual of environment education around the volcano Park when he was volunteering with the Gorillas Organisation (Former DFGF/Europe) in Rwanda. Joseph is currently finishing his study on evaluation of service effectiveness of selected refugee service providers in urban and surrounding areas of the Cape Town Metropolitan area for his Master's degree in Public Management at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) and is doing his second masters programme in International Development with Adrews University.
Joseph is married to Providence and proud father of a boy. In his very limited time he enjoys cooking African food for his family.
