Show profile Hide profileMy career in business tourism began at Springbok Atlas in the Meetings Industry division in 1995. I developed a keen interest in the sector, in how it contributed to the South African economy. My career path progressed over the years, affording me increasing levels of responsibility and personal growth, with positions at Wedgewood South Africa, Fairfield Meetings & Incentives and Antidote Strategic Corporate Events. I moved from one position to the next in fairly quick succession, seeking more stimulation, growth and responsibility.
After working in the international meetings industry for 15 years, I decided to move into the non-profit sector, initially as a volunteer and ultimately to Bright Start Education Support Programme. I returned to the business world while continuing my involvement in education as a volunteer and donor.
