Sensodyne has launched its new Rapid Action toothpaste to soothe sensitive teeth in 60 seconds (when used as directed on pack), while cleaning, freshening and protecting against dental decay. When used twice daily, it is said to provide a long-lasting physical seal against sensitivity triggers, which has also been shown to provide a deep acid-resistant barrier. Sufferers can therefore drink acidic drinks, such as grape juice, after applying Sensodyne Rapid Action toothpaste without reversing the effects. The toothpaste is available nationwide at retailers and pharmacies in 75ml tubes for the recommended selling price of R19.99.
