Free Nando's for Mexico - if they lose
Nando's is offering the Mexican football team and their supporters a free lunch if they lose the opening game against South Africa this Friday, 11 June 2010. The cheeky restaurant chain is running adverts this week that address the Mexican team, saying that "Most foreigners think South Africa is rife with bribery and corruption. To live up to your misconceptions, we're offering you - and your spectators - a free lunch if you lose tomorrow." Should the Mexicans lose on Friday, all they and their supporters need to do is show a valid Mexican passport at any Nando's restaurant on Saturday between 2pm and 5pm, and they will receive a free quarter chicken and chips as an eat-in option.
