Cape Town's design plans, going forward from WDC...
There's no doubt that Cape Town's designation as World Design Capital in 2014 positioned the city globally as a design city, with a growing design ecosystem, says the Cape Craft+ Design Institute.
But where to from here? All is not lost. Many plans were shared at the WDC2014 convocation ceremony in October last year, and Alderman Patricia de Lille, as City of Cape Town's Executive Mayor, stating that WDC will leave an intangible legacy best felt in the future.
