Inventor Malcolm Maidwell, has developed the unique 'Keepitup' product which ensures that bottles and glasses are kept upright at picnics, concerts and outdoor events where drinks are consumed. "It's time to say goodbye to the inconvenience of spilt drinks and toppled bottles that go hand-in-hand with outdoor beverage consumption", says Maidwell, who also wants to use his invention to create employment for the previously unemployed and physically challenged people of Cape Town, who are producing his unique product - a must for any picnic basket.
