TLC running campaign for Idols

The new TLC campaign urges Idols X fans to #makeyourexcuse to stay home on a Sunday night to watch Idols South Africa's 10th season, on Mzansi Magic and M-Net.

"TLC offers mass reach when it comes to generating awareness and engaging consumers. This campaign - packed full of fun excuses for viewers to use to stay home and watch the show - educates viewers about the show," says TLC's Brett Tucker. "Some of the excuses include 'I can't make it, a tree fell on my car keys', and 'I changed all my locks and now I can't get out'. The washroom environment also provides the dwell time and privacy that viewers need to engage with the creative and absorb the advertising message."
