Kia Motors has revealed the Stinger, its highly anticipated rear-wheel drive sports sedan, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit – an event typically dominated by US manufacturers.
Inspired by the GT concept of 2011, the five-seat fastback sports saloon promises to shake up a segment dominated by European products and is the highest-performance production vehicle in the company's history.
The Stinger will eventually be offered with multiple engine and drivetrain configurations and luxurious accommodation, and will arrive in markets around the world later this year.
Pricing will be announced closer to the vehicle's launch date.
