
World newspaper congress for Cape Town
NASA has confirmed arrangements for a number of exciting events around this prestigious event for South Africa at which high-profile newspaper owners, publishers and editors from more than 100 countries, will converge on the Cape Town Convention Centre.
NASA President Connie Molusi will formally invite international delegates to WAN 2007 when he addresses the 2006 congress in Moscow on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. A six-minute promotional DVD that highlights South Africa's outstanding potential as a tourist and business destination will follow.

This is the first time this prestigious congress will be held in Africa, and negotiations have begun to book an array of top Government, civil society and business speakers from the Continent and internationally, who will focus on issues that include challenges to Press freedom, the impact of electronic media on newspaper sales and new technologies that will shape the newspaper of the future.
