Labour brokers are 'human traffickers' - Craven

According to a Fin24 report, the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) has accused labour brokers of being "human traffickers" because they are making profits by hiring out workers as commodities.

Fin24 quotes Cosatu spokesman, Patrick Craven, as saying that labour brokers are exploiting workers to rake in profits for businesses.

Craven insists that labour brokers should be "completely banned" particularly as more than 30% of workers were working at companies that had hired them through broking organisations, Fin24 reports.
