5FM appoints Natalie Frank as new marketing manager

Frank brings a wealth of marketing experience to her new 5FM role, including relationship management roles in financial services in both London and South Africa. Not only is she an avid 5FM listener herself, but she joins the station with an CV that includes a BComm degree from Wits University, MBA from the Wits Business School and successfully completing coursework during a semester at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
"5FM is a powerful platform for those interested in reaching the youth in South Africa and attracting the next generation of cool and trendy young adults. I'm very excited by the opportunity to work on such a dominant brand that has been consistently voted by young urbanites as the coolest radio station for several years running. I look forward to working with the 5FM team to deliver cool music, great content and unrivalled experiential entertainment to our loyal listeners. 5FM is more than a brand for a radio station - it's about ensuring we align the brand to our audiences' lifestyles, and continuously inspire and entertain them. It's going to be massively rewarding and challenging at the same time," says Frank.
5FM's station manager, Aisha Mohamed, says: "We look forward to welcoming Natalie to the 5FM family. Marketing is a vital component to the station. We will continue to invest in building the strongest brand in music radio and position 5FM in the hearts and minds of youthful and open-minded South Africans ensuring we capture the highest number of loyal listeners in the market."
